On the afternoon of May 14th, the seventh meeting of ACEG’s Epidemic Prevention and Control Leading Unit was held in the conference hall on the 3rd floor of Anjian Building - ACEG’s head office building in Hefei, Anhui province, in ways of both online live video and offline. Mr. Zhao Shiyun, Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of ACEG and also the Director of ACEG epidemic prevention and control unit, attended the meeting and made a summary speech. Mr. Liu Jiajing, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and General Manager of the ACEG and Deputy Director of ACEG epidemic prevention and control unit, chaired the meeting.
Chairman Zhao pointed out that the current situation of the epidemic was still grim, all units and individuals must pay great attentions to the epidemic prevention and control works; rearrange and redeploy the forces and resources; strictly implement the requirements of the local epidemic prevention and control authorities; complete the epidemic prevention and control duties and implement the detailed prevention and control measures conscientiously.
Chairman Zhao has emphasized that the following eight measures should be seriously abided by: First, it is necessary to pay close attentions to the outbreak situations in a timely manner and communicate the situations to the employees through official media and instruct them not to believe or spread any rumor. Second, all units should make a good plan to coordinate the production and the epidemic prevention works and fine epidemic prevention and control works on a regular basis should be prior to all other works. Third, minimize or cancel all large-scale parties or gathering activities, and individual protection should be strictly done well. Fourth, personal travels, especially to areas labelled high and medium risks, some public transports such as high-speed rails or aircrafts are not allowed in principle. Fifth, disinfection and bactericidal efforts should stressed in public areas and hold individuals or units who refuse to comply with the epidemic prevention and control measures accountable in strict accordance with relevant regulations. Sixth, adhere to “daily reports” and “zero-report” system on the epidemic prevention and control, in case of emergency, it should be reported to ACEG’s Epidemic Prevention and Control Office in the first time. Seventh, determine whether to take special epidemic prevention and control measures according to the region where the project is located; special prevention and control measures should be launched immediately for projects in areas classified as high or medium risks. Eighth, those who are eligible for COVID-19 vaccination should be inoculated as soon as possible to prevent the outbreak to the greatest extent.
