Recently, the Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development has released the list of the winners of National Green Building Innovation Awards 2020, the project – office building of Anhui Provincial Urban and Rural Planning and Construction, contracted and built by ACEG, won a second award with flying colors.
The National Green Building Innovation Awards are known to conduct every two years and the winning projects will be those that have obtained the green building label and completed and accepted for more than one year. According to the jury，the technical systems adopted in safety, durability, health, comfort and resource saving for the winners, are outstanding and innovative and the key technologies used have reached the leading levels in the industry for the time and the innovative management mode adopted in the planning, design, construction and operation stages and the actual operation effect of the project have maneuvered well for so far, and a conclusion was made that the innovative technologies and managements adopted by the winning projects turned out to have achieved remarkable results in the aspects of economic, social and environmental benefits with values of promotion and application, which have been effectively promoting the high-quality development of green buildings.
A total of 133 projects nationwide took part in the tryout assessment，among which 61 projects won the awards after the assessment of the experts of the jury organized by the Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development in accordance with the Measures for the Administration of National Green Building Innovation Award.
The Project - office building of Anhui Provincial Urban and Rural Planning and Construction, is the first three-star green building in Anhui Province, with a total construction area of 46,166.8 square meters, it has won 21 awards and prizes one after another so far such as National AAA Safety and Civilization Standardization Construction Site, National Green Demonstration Project of Construction Industry, “Huangshan Cup” Prize of Anhui Province, “Luban” Prize of China Construction Project and so on, according to the news released by the jury, some 76 green construction measures were adopted in the construction processes of the project and the principle of “Save land, save water, save material and save energy and environmental protection” (known as 4-save, 1-protection) were implemented to achieve a perfect combination of green building and advanced technology and lean quality.
